As a professional speaker I am passionate about creating empathetic spaces and teaching practical skills that can be applied immediately. My audiences include, but are not limited to, business women, teens and young adults, families of teens and young adults, as well as families of children with special needs.
I empower women to discover and live the life they want by encouraging them to look in the mirror first. Then, recall, recognize, and reinvent who they want to be now, so that the they can be empowered to live the life they love.
To bring awareness to teens and young adults regarding life saving topics dealing with physiological, social and mental setbacks leading up to and during the transition into adulthood.
My passion is to bring awareness to family members of teen and young adults regarding critical topics leading up to and during the transition into adulthood. Next, build an understanding of these issues and create a plan of action to help them transition and thrive in adulthood
Helping families work together to differentiate the individual needs of each member so that all can be heard, feel honored, and the family unit can become stronger, through my simple process of bringing awareness to critical topics, building an understanding of these issues, and creating a plan of action to transition into a family focused goal or dream is my passion. I create empathetic spaces that honor each family member and focus on the wellness of the whole family unit.
I personally love to talk! I love to listen as well and share insights with others. When I went to an event where Deb was speaking, I felt like I was sitting in my living room connecting with the girls. She was so involved with the audience and you could tell how much she cared about us. She is very knowledgeable about her topics to be able to walk the walk and talk the talk. She gave me some really helpful strategies on how to work through the craziness of life raising my teen and young adults. Very thankful!
Deb Geiger Rochau is a rockstar! I have been to a number of her talks and every time, I walk out inspired and wanting more. She just gets it. Her many different experiences allows her to connect to a number of people. I am always amazed with how practical her teaching is and easily applicable. I would absolutely encourage you to check her out and get to one of her talks! -Carrie M
I have known Deb, aka Coach Rochau, for a number of years, and she has been an encouraging source of inspiration to our players.
Her passion to reach beyond the lines on the court and get to know each player for who they really are, shines through in all she does. She is always willing to listen, support, and go well beyond what is expected to help each player feel connected and most of all, that they matter. As happens with all teams, my team was working through some adversity this season.
With little notice, Deb came before practice and provided an inspiring and motivational talk that hit home for exactly what we needed during that time. Both energy and passion shine through as she speaks to teens and young adults so they listen and want to hear her message.
Her talk hit the mark as it helped the team become more focused, more resilient, and more respectful of one another so they could compete better as a team. -Coach M
I have only known Ms. Rochau for a few years, but I continue to be amazed at her drive, enthusiasm and passion for both young adults with special needs, as well as understanding the challenges of the parents involved. Her conversations with my young adult disabled son have reached a level that even our psychologist could not obtain. My son immediately became not only comfortable with her, but was quickly able to trust in what she communicated to him that allowed him to make great progress in some of his mental and emotional challenges. In speaking to me as his only parent, she was able to provide perspective that was invaluable for me to approach conversations and more actively listen to my son in a way that has made our relationship stronger in a short period of time. I am forever grateful for how she has communicated her knowledge to both of us, in a way that was relatable and meaningful at the same time. -Henry F
